Apex Software House built the Khata Book app as a Freemium application. This SERVICE is provided by Apex Software House at no cost (with an optional Pro upgrade) and is intended for use as is.
Khata Book is a completely native, offline application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information, customer data, ledger entries, or balances on external servers. All data (powered by Room Database) is strictly and securely stored locally on your device.
To prevent data loss, the app utilizes Android's built-in Google Auto Backup feature, which securely syncs your data to your personal Google Drive account. You can also manually export your data as a JSON file to save on your device or share via WhatsApp/Drive. This data remains entirely under your control.
Our app offers a "Pro" upgrade. We use the Google Play Billing Library to handle this purchase safely. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card or any payment details.
